It’s deeply depressing to see how fast people seem to have ‘moved on’ from the continuing genocide in Gaza — as if the ‘ceasefire’ in October had somehow sorted it all out.
Hundreds of completely innocent citizens of Gaza have been killed since then. Gaza itself has been partitioned as part of Israel’s ongoing ethnic cleansing, with only a third of the original territory now ‘set aside’ (apartheid-style) for Palestinians. The Israeli Defence Forces are now working alongside illegal settlers in the West Bank to crush Palestinian farmers, businesses and ordinary citizens.
The genocide goes on.
The war crimes go on.
The collective punishment of Palestinians goes on.
And our Government still does nothing.
It will not even acknowledge the appalling situation of the six Palestine Action prisoners on hunger strike, two of whom are now in hospital. It was entirely unmoved by the tens of thousands of people who turned out to support Palestine Solidarity Campaign’s march in London on Saturday.
And its only response to the 2,700 arrests which have been made since July (to support the Defend Our Juries campaign to get the ban on Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation lifted) has been to attack the very principle of jury trials. 650 of those arrests (including my own in Bristol on Saturday) took place in November, with 30 actions across 25 different locations.

I’ve made a little video about this: https://youtu.be/mfZ_ymGm17M
Finally, Defend Our Juries has made a beautiful short film to help persuade people understand what is really going on.
